General Mills Is Not The Only Company Trying To Take Away Your Right To Sue...

As many of you may know, last week General Mills tried to claim that all customers who “liked” them on Facebook or redeemed a coupon were all contractually bound to use arbitration (instead of the court system) to resolve any grievance these customers may have against the company.   After the public outcry General Mills reversed this position, however as Leah Libresco points out, General Mills is not the only company that is trying to use contracts to limit your ability to access the courts.  This is a relatively widespread practice that is currently being used by banks and even some dentists!
