Mandated Sick Leave Law About To Take Effect In NYC
Well New York City employers, the time has come... as of next Tuesday, April 1, 2014, you will be mandated to provide your employees with paid sick leave time off. If you have 5 employees or less this law does not apply to you. Also, if you have more than 5 or less than 19 employees, you will have a six-month grace period before they are subject to fines.
